Bringing the Future into Focus
From the Mirage of Standardization to the Promise of Future-Readiness
About this resource
Education as we know it was designed for a different era. AI is accelerating change faster than our systems can adapt. We need to stop tweaking at the edges and ask the fundamental question: What do young people need to flourish in the Age of AI—as individuals, in careers, and as citizens?
This anthology offers a watercolor—not a blueprint—of what future-ready learning could look like in the Age of AI. Over three years, we’ve collaborated with practitioners, researchers, youth, families, and funders to explore one essential question:
What do young people need to be inspired and prepared to flourish in the Age of AI – as individuals, in careers, and for democracy?
doesn’t offer one answer. It reflects the perspectives of leaders informed by their work alongside practitioners, researchers, youth, and families who are building different pieces of the solution. Their essays paint of picture of what’s possible when we let go of ___ and design for human flourishing.
How to navigate this anthology:
Explore the three pillars that must be re-architected: what we learn, how and where we learn, and who supports that learning
